Our Focus
MRA is dedicated to mounting a culture that is manifestly different from our competitors. Our core focus is not on building the largest firm in the Brokerage business in Pakistan, but on building the most respected, Reliable and trustworthy and become the most admired in the brokerage industry. We will accomplish this by focusing on the Retail & Corporate clients. We will create an atmosphere where we can take great care of the clients and their financial Assets by devoting the best Risk Management, Value Added Services, and Client service standards.
Introduction, History and Key Milestones
The vision behind MRA Securities Limited was conceived by Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Adam, an individual member of the Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited since January 1997. Regrettably, Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Adam passed away before the Company could formally commence operations; however, his vision and commitment to the capital markets continue to guide MRA’s foundation and values.
MRA Securities Limited subsequently became a member of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (formerly Karachi Stock Exchange Limited) in the year 2000. During the period 2001–2002, the Company further strengthened its market presence by acquiring membership of the Lahore Stock Exchange Limited. Following these memberships, MRA began serving both retail and corporate investors, offering comprehensive services including trading, custody, and clearing & settlement under one roof.
In January 2016, MRA Securities Limited converted its membership into a Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) holder under the Corporatization, Demutualization and Integration Act, 2012.
In August 2016, the Company applied to convert its status from a private limited company to an unlisted public limited company under the Securities Brokers (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2016. Simultaneously, it applied for renewal of its brokerage license as a Trading and Clearing Member of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited. Due to regulatory requirements, MRA was granted a “Trading and Self-Clearing License”, authorizing it to provide Securities Trading, Securities and Cash Custodial services along with Clearing and Settlement facilities.
Following approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the Company was successfully converted into an unlisted public limited company on September 26, 2016, and its name was changed to MRA Securities Limited. Since then, MRA has been operating as a Trading and Self-Clearing TREC Holder of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
In 2020, MRA further diversified its services by applying for Underwriting (UR) licenses and Consultant to the Issue (CTI). The SECP granted the “Underwriting License” on March 6, 2020, and the “Consultant to the Issue” License on November 5, 2020. Since then, MRA Securities Limited has been actively providing underwriting services and consultancy for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and other capital market transactions to its corporate clients.

Corporate Sales Desk
MRA has designated a branch for the corporate sector. All the institutions and company trading executed from the corporate branch under highly qualified sales staff members. MRA has also designated a staff member to handle the corporate settlement affairs which is separated from the retail clients’ settlement affairs on day to day basis.
Customer Support Department
This department provides one window opportunity to the valuable clients to seek information regarding to the online trading, clients activity reports, email confirmation and status of clients cheques. This department also plays vital role to promote securities marketing through different online and offline channels to provide fast response of clients’ queries regarding trading, technical and their account status.
